From Root to Textile
Madder root is picked, steeped and simmered slowly in mineral rich water to extract the rich red and orange tones of the root. Then the color is concentrated by reducing it down and turning the concentrate alkaline. Finally, we steep the prepared cotton into it to transfer the rich tones into your Ponchos.
